DMCA Policy

1. Overview
CheatBay respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid DMCA takedown notices. As a marketplace platform, CheatBay does not develop or control the content uploaded by sellers.
2. Filing a Takedown Request
If you believe content on CheatBay infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on CheatBay (URL)
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

3. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you may file a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
CheatBay maintains a repeat infringer policy:
- First offense: Content removed, seller notified
- Second offense: Content removed, seller given a formal warning
- Third offense: Account permanently terminated
CheatBay reserves the right to terminate accounts with fewer strikes in cases of egregious or willful infringement.
5. Good Faith
Filing a false DMCA takedown notice may result in liability for damages. Please ensure your claim is legitimate before filing.
